Wedding Anniversary Date Night

I was really lucky that my wedding anniversary fell during my good week of last cycle. Tom and I celebrated out third year of marriage and were able to make it out for dinner at our local Cote Brasserie.

We had a wonderful time at the meal, and I had such joy getting myself dressed and dolled up so thought I’d pop a post up with my face and outfit for fun. It felt really good to get dressed up and go out. I felt really good, put together and human.

I went all out on a full pamper session using one of my favourite clay masks: Loreal Pure Clay Glow Mask with 3 pure clays and Red Algae to brighten and exfoliate, before using my lovely Nip & Fab Dragon’s Blood Serum and then the amazing Avene Rich Skin Recovery Cream which has been saving me throughout my treatment, which turns my skin into a highly intolerant mess for the majority of the cycle of treatment.

Then I moved onto a full face of makeup which was pure joy for me, and a group of my lovely friends helped me pick my outfit out for the night – they definitely chose right! I’m glad I followed their advice! Below the pictures you can find what I wore and a makeup breakdown too! I’ll link to what I am able to for you at the bottom of the post – just in case x

I had a gloriously wonderful meal that included some lovely Smoked Salmon (an odd choice for me, I wouldn’t usually go for it), the most beautiful Rump of Lamb main followed by their incredible Praline Crepe for dessert – yummy!

I only thought to picture my main – but they all looked incredible on the plate.

I can’t tell you how wonderful it was to have a night out of the house with my husband doing something just really lovely.

If you read this Tom, thank you, for an incredible meal and, despite everything, the most wonderful three years so far. I couldn’t do this, or walk this road without you beside me – no matter how crabby I seem x
